“An Easter egg”

Raffaele Rinaldi This photograph belongs to the “Sweet Beauty” series, in which sweets change their meaning: the sweet becomes a clothing accessory. Here the artist surpasses himself in a perfectly surreal game, in which the model herself transforms into an Easter egg. In memory of his dear grandmother, who every year prepared Easter eggs for all her grandchildren. This was one of the cards he had used. The shot was taken in Florence, in the Academy’s studio, in 2013. “I have always photographed my dreams, not reality”.
